The name LEO Heavy Apple is a play on words. On the one hand, the body is made of heavy and beautifully grained apple wood. In combination with the quatersawn maple neck this results in a powerful sound that can definitely play in the heavy range.
The zodiac sign of Leo is inlaid in the body using brass and aluminum. The position markings on the neck are in the form of runes. If you can read the runic script, you will notice that the runes were used for the corresponding fret positions 3, 5, 7, ….
The humbucker on the bridge pushes powerfully and with the single coil on the neck you can achieve higher-rich sounds than with a second humbucker. Unusual, but very harmonious and the combination sounds have it all.
