The ORION Magma Queen is a very special edition with a magma red stained flamed maple body. Volcanoes often bring rare metals from the earth’s interior to the surface. To express this, the metal parts have a gold finish.

The noble character of the guitar is supported by a flamed maple neck with a beautifully wild-grained olive fretboard. In order not to disturb the look of the fretboard, there are fret markings only as sidedots.

For the neck, I chose quatersawn wood and a 628mm scale for a slightly warmer tone. Nevertheless, you get more treble with a maple neck than with a mahogany neck. Together with the Amber Spirit of 59 pickups, you get an independent sound note that is pleasantly different from the familiar PAF mahogany spectra. When playing the Magma Queen, you can really melt away.

Sustainability is very important to me, which is why I only offer lacquering of the body on special customer request. To compensate for the environmental impact of the lacquering, the purchase price includes 150 € to be donated to the WWF Amazon project.
