The ORION AmberGold serves as a bridge between my Custom and BESPOKE models.

Based on the ORION Custom model, this guitar incorporates several high-end features that are usually found on my bespoke guitars. The aluminum body and all metal parts are plated with 24-karat gold. The pores of the mahogany wood on the body – which is over 50 years old – are subtly filled with gold. The flamed maple neck is roasted, and the 196x plumwood fretboard is inlaid directly into the neck.

The inlays on the fretboard are made of amber and are outlined with a very thin band of silver. The silver used is Argentium, a silver alloy from the jewelry industry that does not tarnish.

The goal with this guitar was to build a noble instrument that is, however, rather understated and not flashy.
